1986 Alfa Romeo Spider w 74000 miles and less than 1100 miles on new Vredesteins (165 HR 14s = better than low profile!!), IAP suspension springs lower Spider tastefully (11/2") and emphasize handling ability rather than needlessly stiffening it and ruining the dynamics of proper well designed rear axle location! Koni reds complete the simple updates. New seat vinyl and a new top as well as a dash cover give the Spider long lasting interior quality. The engine is unmodified = the Bosch L-jetronic working excellently - just passed California emissions in February 2023. Does not leak or burn oil. Body is clean, a relatively decent repaint accomplished a few years back (but before I acquired in 2020) shows no bubbling rust anywhere - body is very solid. New muffler and a good cat gives a nice growl in day to day driving. I am hoping to sell a 4 dr 1957 Chevy so I can keep this solid car...
